Merlot was not a planned addition to our complete Great Dane family of 2 girls, but seeing him at 6 weeks old was all it took! Born on 18 January 2004, Merlot has the most wonderful nature and is a real gentleman, putting the girls to shame with their wild ways!

New home, new toys...
In March 2004, Merlot joined the Chezenko dogs, though it would be a few months before he knew there were other Great Danes on the property, as the smaller, gentle labs "babysat" for the first 4 months |
