Tony & Vicki Reid founded Chezenko Labrador Retrievers in 1990.

We have owned Great Dane pets since 1989, but were introduced our first show quality bitch in 2001, who was to be our foundation brood bitch.  Since then we have acquired 2 more Danes, and feel 3 is our limit (especially with the 16+ Labradors...!)

Due to busy work schedule and our 2 wonderful children, Kirsty and David, our competitive dog time has become limited.

We have however, successfully made Colby up to a South African Show Champion.

With some concern, we had our dog's hearts scanned for early detection of DCM (dilative cardio-myopathy) and both Colby and Freckles need to be re-scanned, so until that is done in 2007, we will not be planning any further Great Dane litters, but will continue to enjoy our 3 at home
